Egyptian parliament approves cabinet reshuffle

The approval came during a plenary session chaired by Speaker Hesham Badawi, following the presentation of the new ministers and discussion of their work plans.

Egypt’s parliament has approved President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s cabinet reshuffle, aimed at strengthening economic growth, infrastructure development, and social programs. 
 
The approval came during a plenary session chaired by Speaker Hesham Badawi, following the presentation of the new ministers and discussion of their work plans.

Key appointments in the new cabinet include:

- Hussein Mohamed Ahmed Issa – Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs

- Khaled Abdel Ghaffar – Minister of Health

- Kamel El-Wazir – Minister of Transport

- Manal Awad Mikhael – Minister of Local Development and Environment

- Badr Abdel Al-Atty – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Egyptian Expatriates

- Mohamed Farid Saleh – Minister of Investment and Domestic Trade

- Abdel Aziz Konsowa – Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research

- Randa Abdel Aziz – Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities

- Rafat Abdel Aziz Fahmy – Minister of Communications and Information Technology

- Diyaa Rashwan – Minister of Information

- Ahmed Tawfik Rostom – Minister of Planning

- Hassan Raddad – Minister of Labor

- Gohar Nabil Mohamed – Minister of Youth and Sports

- Khaled Ali Maher – Minister of Industry

- Major General Salah Mohamed Suleiman – Minister of State for Military Production

- Hany Azer – Minister of Parliamentary Affairs
