The Red Sea Ports Authority has announced the arrival of the Achille ship at Safaga port carrying 63,000 tons of imported Russian wheat on behalf of the General Authority for Supply Commodities.

The port authorities have taken the necessary measures to inspect the shipment to ensure its safety before allowing the ship to enter the port and unload the wheat into the silos of Safaga. The wheat will then be distributed to the mills according to the distribution schedule.

The total number of ships present on the Authority's docks has reached 12 ships, with 69,000 tons of various goods traded, in addition to 274 trucks and 11 cars. The import movement included 63,500 tons of goods, 144 trucks, and 11 cars, while the export movement included 5,500 tons of goods, 130 trucks.

The Windsor Adventure ship, coming from Ukraine to load phosphate, was also received at the port. Meanwhile, Nuweiba port saw the trading of 5,500 tons of goods and 274 trucks through shuttle trips for three ships, which are Eilah, Bridge, and Sina. The Authority's ports also recorded the arrival and departure of 600 passengers.

This positive news indicates the continuous growth of the import and export activities in the Red Sea Ports, contributing to the development of the Egyptian economy. The increase in the number of ships and the amount of goods traded reflects the confidence of international traders in the efficiency and reliability of the ports.
